Warwick Ult Not Surpressing Auto Attacks

I am spectating a game where a Master Yi activated their ult (not sure about E) and was auto attacking Warwick when Warwick ulted him. Yi continued to deliver several auto attacks to WW throughout the suppression period despite not having QSS, or any item or CC to interrupt the ult.
