Flash Icon in kill notification [SRVU??]

I have noticed (I think since the Summoner's Rift VU, but definitely since 4.19 only) that I occasionally see the Flash icon instead of the champion splash icon in the kill notification that appears near the top right of the screen after a kill. I unfortunately didn't notice if it was occurring with a particular champ but if I see it again I'll check and also try to grab a screenshot.
