In the past weeks i have ot received a key shard along with my friends and we are wondering why is this happening because right now hextech crafting is useless for us!

Key fragment drop rate is non-linear; the more you get the faster the rate drops. This resets roughly every 30 days after your first fragment.

You should get (from what I've seen people claim they receive) about 4 fragments before the rate drops significantly, and after that farming them is difficult to pointless. This allows everyone to get around the same amount whether they play a lot or just a little each month.

It's all about luck of the draw...thankfully my family almost always has luck on its side so i get plenty
