swain ability giving enemies it kills assists and gold

swains decrepify ability kept giving everyone on my team assists and assit gold whenever swain used the ability on them before they died, I'm not entirely sure if this was an isolated incident but it kept occurring through the entire game any time swain used decrepify and I died I would get gold for my own death and my assists would increase by 1.
