Can't go from Legacy to Alpha Client

I recently uninstalled league and reinstalled it but everytime I try to go to the new client it gives me a message that tells me "League of legends has encountered a problem. Please re-instal league alpha client and try again." Any help would be appreciated. Thank you for your time.
