[Patching] "Unspecified error, refer to log" explained, refer to post 10/8/2016

Opens launcher, calculates differences on 1 file for 30 seconds to 1 minute then pops up with "update failed, unspecified error occurred. please check logs for more info." Edit for Devs, patching is stuck at 33%, consider changeing the colour because i didn't even see this until now, its not visable at all, and doing a repair doesn't fix, as well as checking or unchecking "allow peer to peer", no AVG or other Anti virus is blocking LOL either

log reads

Click on the gears to go to setting, uncheck the peer to something.

Does not help with "Peer to Peer" being unchecked, if anything it takes longer to get the popup.

And you reloaded the client after unchecking it?

Ethos Seeker2 votes

that would be the obvious thing to do lol, they are aware of the issue and are fixing it, its non on our end

It worked for me so back off man.

I am having this exact same problem.

Bunch of people haveing either this, or a similar problem right now. on a different thread, someone said one of the devs was aware of the issue, so hopefully it will be addressed soon

Its a timeout problem on their end, nothing we can do to fix it, eevryone just says to look at this post http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/help-support/aeoIJMJw-having-issues-patching-620-click-here but none of that will help this specific problem, i should of most likely posted this under that thread, but i found it after posting this thread
