League of Legends not working properly on Mac

It has been more than** a year **now that League of Legends isn't working properly on Mac. First issue I am dealing with is the voice chat. I was able to find a solution for that (launching the app from Terminal), but now, with the new client, every time I launch League the screen is either black, or it tells me that it is reconnecting.

First, there is no answer whatsoever from Riot to the microphone issue. Now, there is no answer from them on this either.

An answer would be MUCH appreciated. And by answer, I mean **patch these things up. **

I'm on Mojave.
