Fps stuttering

So yesterday, all of a sudden my fps started stuttering mid-game. It has been happening ever since. The game runs perfectly fine at about 200fps until 4:30minute mark and thats when it starts randomly stuttering down to 50-60fps. The game is unplayably laggy in teamfights and when casting abilities, used to be able to play with constant 200fps. Changing the graphics doesn't make a difference.

im playing on an Asus rog g750jm 8gb ram, geforce gtx 860m, i7-4700HQ Cpu @2.40GHz, windows 8.1

Having the same problem since season 6 patch

from 450 fps (uncapped) to 30-40 fps in teamfights & when buying something in the fountain

I have to uncap it (normally it was capped at 120) , otherwise my fps drops even lower (1 fps lol)

I've been searching a fix for weeks

Your laptop is probably overheating.
