Game Bug: Windows 10 September 2016 Anniversary Update Crashes League Matches [Crash]

On 10 September 2016, my Dell XPS 13 forced started the Windows 10 Anniversary Update. After the update, on 11 September 2016, every game I have played (2, as ), has crashed at the "Welcome to Summoners Rift" opening. The crash is just a screen and audio freeze that I cannot exit except by forcefully shutting down my computer. The League Client and matchmaking screen seem to work fine, and the crash seems to only occur when a match starts. I have probably been reported multiple times for "Leaving Game/AFK", so hopefully Rito reads this and pardons my crimes. I've rolled back my Windows 10 version to whatever came before the September update, so hopefully this fix works. Has this happened to anyone else?

It has for me, you have to set the Lol client and the Air client to both run in compatibility mode. This fixed the crashes for me.

I had the exact same issue after the Windows 10 Anniversary Update. The screen froze, audio stopped entire, I couldn't access the task manager and I didn't blue screen. I had to hold down the power button on my computer to turn it off.

The simplest fix (and the one which worked for me) would be to set the following file to run in Compatibility Mode for Windows 7.

Just change the following property for this file:

C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\RADS\solutions\lol_game_client_sln\releases\0.0.1.144\deploy\League of Legends.exe

Properties -> Compatibility -> Compatibility Mode (Set to Windows 7)

I have had a hectic few days with a lot of crashes! I finally fixed it and didnt crash for 10 hours! I go to play league, and i couldnt load into a game, it wouldnt open. So I repair, didnt want to be reported! (This is happening as i type this) and it crashed as soon as i loaded in! What is going on riot? I need a fix!

My computer force updated today and when I logged in to play league with my friends, my whole computer froze and had to force shut down. I have reconnected then it would happen again another two times. I don't know what it is so can someone please help???

Has anyone come up for a solution to this yet? I do not have an Xbox game bar and I just got this computer over the weekend. It worked just fine over the weekend and then my windows updated and now my game freezes every time after the loading screen. I have to restart it and it does the same thing. Is there a solution?
