[Client bug] client disappears from screen/desktop after clicking summoner profile button

Since the update to 5.2, my league client disappears whenever I click the "view/edit summoner profile" button along the top bar. All other buttons seem to work fine, but when I click that, the client displays an animation like it has been minimized to the taskbar. However, it doesn't appear on the taskbar or anywhere else. It appears in "processes" in the task manager, but there doesn't seem to be any way to see the client once this happens. The only way is to open a new instance of the client and terminate the one that was already running.

The problem occurs not only when I click "modify profile" button, but as well when i right-click on a friend and try to "view profile".

I thought i was the only one having this problem too. This bug allows for you to multilog and have to accounts appear online while only being on one computer.

If you could recreate it for me, it may bring credit to the problem

  1. Open up LoL as normal, launch from the patcher, go to the client and log in as normal, click the summoners profile and have it crash.
  2. Open up Task Manager and scroll down till you find "LoL Patcher" and "LoL Client"
  3. Rightclick the LoL Client and go to its file location.
  4. From the Deploy folder, Launch another instance of the LoL Client.
  5. You should have bypassed the LoL Patcher correct? If so log into another account such as a smurf. (Because the first LoL Client is still (Somehow) up, the LoL Patcher Process for the original LoL Client is still working. This should bypass the Maestro Check.)
  6. Once logged in, see if you can see your main online.
  7. If you have a friend that has both your main and Smurf on their friendslist, see if they can see both of your accounts online.

Has Patch 5.3 resolved your problem?
