In my client, every time I start up all windows are blacked out

All of the links and such are blacked out, except apparently the ones shown. Ironically enough, the ones that aren't blacked out are the only ones I CAN'T select. It usually isn't such a huge deal, but as it is preventing me from participating in the Burning Tides Event, it has definitely BECOME a big deal.
