[CRASH][MAC] Cannot load into PVP games on the Summoners Rift

As the title suggests, I cannot load into a PVP game on the SR. When I try, the game either freezes in the loading screen telling me that I have disconnected (I'm quite sure my internet is fine) or it just shows up as a black screen telling me that it could not connect because of my firewall. HOWEVER. I loaded into a 5v5 game with 9 bots earlier today on the SR and it was fine (although I did load in a minute after the game started). I also loaded into 3 previous ARAM games fine and a bot game on the Twisted Treeline fine. This is the second time I've been unable to connect to a regular SR game so I'm not gonna be able to (try to) play on it until the issue is fixed.

I am on a Mac which is known for being buggy but this is the first time I've experienced this bug. Earlier on 4.20 I did have a similar bug where the game would crash after loading to 100% but when I'd try to reconnect it'd reconnect fine. This variation however is obviously more damning for me and my team, so I'd love to hear how to fix it or if a fix is coming on Riot's end.
