I don't know if this is a bug but please help

So, today someone gifted me pulsefire cait and ward skin. No notification popped up or anything thought that the client was bugged saying that I owned the skin when I don't. So I tried to go into a custom game , wouldn't let me make one. So I decide to close league and re log back on. Then I type in username/password and now all it says is "Authenticating..." and has been this way for 5+ min, anything I can do? Also I got on the app and talked to the person, they said they had gifted me but no notification had popped up saying so. Thanks
