Champion Select: click on new spell and champion behind screen will be selected

[Gameplay] When in CS before a match champion is picked (but not locked), I go to click a new spell and it will select the champion behind that certain spell (sometimes character will not speak so problem goes unnoticed) and then continues to lock in with the wrong champion. This has happened to me many times along with others who go to explain their frustration within the chat box.

Can this be fixed?
