Client Freezes Laptop Everytime After Logging In!

Just starting today, as soon as i'd log in, only the skeleton of the client appears, then immediately freezes my laptop afterwards, causing me to restart it. I tried running as admin and changed the compatibility to Windows 7, but it still won't budge. I'm also aware that a few other laptop users have been having the same situation for the past few days or so. If anyone knows whats going on or how to fix this, please let me know. Rito pls.
