Chat Filter

My chat filter has glitched in game and will no longer turn off after I bought a name changer. I have tried fixing it from a support ticket but the problem still persist.

This is currently a bug on the Beta Client which is being looked into. Please utilize the Legacy Client to resolve this for the time being.

I've never used the beta client and my chat filter's doing this as well. :c

Wrong. I am on Legacy and it won't turn off.

Turn it on then turn it off again.

Follow this path:

C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\RADS\projects\lol_air_client\releases<release version>\deploy\preferences

Then find: "shared_{summoner name}.properties" and edit it to say the following;

[Chat] EnableChatFilter=0

If there is a 1 change it into a 0. Press save. Close all files/folders and start the game back up.

If this still doesn't work (like for me just now) then go to C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\Config

Open the "game" file with notepad, scroll down to

EnableChatFilter=1

Set it to 0, save then restart your game

Just tried this. The second file had a "1." I changed it. Still filtering chat in game :( I went and checked it again. After save, it stays @ "0" when I re-open the file. After starting client, going into custom, chat filter is on. Close client, go back to file and its returned to "1." This is irritating. I like to see naughty words.
