My chat filter has glitched in game and will no longer turn off after I bought a name changer. I have tried fixing it from a support ticket but the problem still persist.

This is currently a bug on the Beta Client which is being looked into. Please utilize the Legacy Client to resolve this for the time being.

Follow this path:

C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\RADS\projects\lol_air_client\releases<release version>\deploy\preferences

Then find: "shared_{summoner name}.properties" and edit it to say the following;

[Chat] EnableChatFilter=0

If there is a 1 change it into a 0. Press save. Close all files/folders and start the game back up.

If this still doesn't work (like for me just now) then go to C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\Config

Open the "game" file with notepad, scroll down to

EnableChatFilter=1

Set it to 0, save then restart your game
