Where's my token for mastery 6?

So I was playing Draft Mode with my friend because hes trying to get to level 30. I was playing Akali that game. By the end of the game, I got an S-. I also, got Mastery Level 5 with her. (Was Mastery level 4 prior to this.) Since I got Mastery 5 on her and getting an S-, I got a Mastery 6 Token for her too. So, I went into my Loots and Crafting Inventory and I saw no token. My friend said, the client is bugged so I restarted my client. I look back and nothing is there. This has happened to my Yasuo and Lucian when hitting Mastery 5 and getting an S, but no token in the inventory. Is this a bug?

The notification that pops up is saying that you are now eligible to earn mastery tokens, not that you have actually earned one.

Unfortunately, you don't get a six token if you hit five that game. feelsbadman.

you can't get a token in the same game you hit 5 with a champion.

Guys I havent played LoL for a while, and I donžt get this. What the hell are tokens? Those bedges you can show pressing Ctrl+6 in game or something else? What are they for?
