After dealing 40k magic damage. Wouldn't her passive heal for quite a bit more than that? Or did i heal the right amount and it only logged 0.1k healing done?

Area of effect (AoE) spells only apply 33% of the listed spell vamp.
My bet is that most of the dmg you dealt was from Pools to minions. 33% of 10% or 15%? On top of that I bet if the number is low enough it may round down. So two ranks in Tormetal Soil. Each tick on minions is probably doing around .6 hp worth of Spell vamp. Does the HP bar round
