Client issues @ champ select

At champion select (regardless of game mode chosen) the client seems to freeze at complete random. This random freezing causes me to be unable to select a champion or lock one if it decides to freeze when I have one selected. The timer will keep going until it hits 0. Players will drop out in the chat log and usually I have to alt+f4 just to be met with a dodge wait time. It has been happening the previous few days as well.

• Internet is flawless as I can still browse the internet while the client is locked up.
• Exiting every program and browser other than league doesn't seem to help the client at all.
• Game worked fine a month ago.
