(CLIENT) No chat, notifs or online?

It appears that the client isn't able to connect to its own servers in terms of chat, online availability or notifications. I re-installed my game (Mind you I'm on hotspot data so I can't do that forever) and it still isn't connecting properly. I don't know why this is happening, and all solutions found were either with the Hextech repair tool (which dosen't work and is bugged too) or were for windows (I have a mac).

This is really tedious and annoying to have to deal with. I understand Riot's gotta keep updating the game to keep things fresh but now I fear every patch or update my game has a chance of just dying. Mind you, I'm running on a perfectly fine computer and have had barely any other troubles with League until recently. If anyone can help or there's a secret sauce solution, or even if Riot needs to release a patch to this then please do. These bugs are getting more frequent and more tedious. [sg-janna]
