Greyed-out client

When I log in to my account, I'm able to get into the client and I can see my account name (in upper right as usual), but the entire client is greyed out. I've never seen anything like this, so I'm quite unsure as to what I should do. I've had my brother log in on his account (same computer, same server) and everything goes without a hitch.

Clarity: If you log in to your account and click the setting button (top right under ign and ip/rp) and look behind the window that popped up, that's what the entire client looks like for some reason. I've tried repairing the client (regardless of the fact that it works on other accounts) with no change.

Any ideas?

Edit: If I go to C:/Riot Games/League of Legends/Rads/Projects/lol_air_client/releases/[release#]/deploy/preferences then I delete the logs saved for that account and I log in I am able to see the pop up asking you if you want to try the new champion selection system in normal draft and I CAN click yes on that and it directs me into the lobby where I'm not able to at least hear the lobby music playing in the background, but the client is still not responding to anything. I can't even drag the top of the client to move it around on my screen. have to alt+f4 to close.
