While in game my client freezes and makes weird noise

When I get into a league of legends game usually about 18 mintues in out of nowhere my game will say attempting to reconnect and then my laptop freezes. So I hard reset my computer to make it work again and connect back to the game and then have no problems. This started happening after the most recent patch and has not stop. Anyone know how to fix it? or having the same problems? This used to happen on my old laptop but I have a new one now and it just started happening again. Please help
