Client stuck at "Authenticating"
And then it shows "unable to login, check servers blah blah blah" Servers are clearly up, my connection is fine. What the frog happened? [slayer-jinx-unamused]

The problem you described happens when your network hasn't established a steady connection with the Client servers. It's very possible to experience connectivity issues within League alone.
