Beta Client Login Issues

So I finally broke down and downloaded the BETA client so I can spectate my friends that are using it (because using the legacy client I couldn't spectate friends using the BETA client). However I cannot log into League using the BETA client I have tried everything. My region is correct, my username and password are correct, caps lock isn't on, and I even reset my password but nothing has worked. Has anyone else had this issue and what did they do to fix it? I did also update the Launcher today which i was hoping would fix the problem.
