Spectator End Game Bug???

From time to time, I like to watch games being played either from friends or from the ranked box that shows different matches being played. After watching a few games awhile ago, and watching from the end, when the team wins, you're just stuck looking at the blown up nexus and you have to manually quit. Was this on purpose? or is it a bug? because I remember it used to have the victory screen and once you press the button it would automatically exit out for you.
