Dynamic Queue Bug? [Client]

Sometimes when I hover over my friends who are in game (and used the dynamic queue) it either doesn't show which champion they are playing, or it shows them playing "Random". After a few tests with some friends we've concluded that if the player selects the champion they intended to play, it will shows as "Random", and if they don't select that champion, it won't show which champion they are playing.

This bug isn't game breaking, Im just assuming it wasn't meant to be like this.
