Reoccuring client issues

Ok, so there is this re-occuring client issue that won't stop happening to me and other friends in these recent times and I would like to know just how many of us are being affected by this. Basically, upon starting up a ranked game (or any) and locking in champions everything is looking smooth. But then the loading percentage stays on 100% and for some reason the game won't start. And you don't notice this until it is too late. Alt tab wont work and neither will task manager so I am forced to sign out and re-log back in inevitably leading to a remake.

This issue happens about every 3-5 games and is definitely not just me. Riot needs to address this issue as I am now put in low priority queue for something that is clearly not my fault.
