[CLIENT] IP bar showing more IP than I actually have

So whenever I get out of a match, my IP bar (the one at the top next to the RP bar) says that I way more RP than I actually have. I'm not sure the exact amount but it looks like I'm gaining twice as much IP in the number at the top per match than what I actually get, which makes going to the store annoying because I'm not sure if I can actually get what I want or not. This error usually fixes itself if I close the client and log back in, but it still happens every time I play a game.
