PVP.net Patcher Kernel has stopped working

Title says it all. I can't even open the program on my Windows 8 laptop, which as of last night was perfectly fine opening it. No changes have been made, the computer hasn't been touched at all since I played last.

Please let me know what I can do to fix this. :(
