Can no longer load in - Patch 8.24

Ever since the recent patch i have no longer been able to load into games. I sit in the loading screen for 5 minutes and then when i hit about 80% the game shuts down and it brings me to end game lobby where it says i afk'd. I feel that riot is doing way too big of graphical updates recently. Last year i would get to 100% in one second. Last season it would be in like 10 seconds, and now i cant even hit 100% Is there anyway to fix this? or do i actually just have to buy a high end computer?

Same thing happened to me on my first game after the patch. Second game had a yasuo who didn't load in but joined late before the remake.

Patch seems buggy.

I'm having similar issues, sometimes i even get to 100% before the game decides to lock up. If I can get into a game everything works just fine. no lag, 60+ frames, the works.
