Are we Ever Going to Fix The Client During Champ Select Riot????

Getting so sick of picking my champ in champ select and the client breaking down with the "There was an error locking i your champion. Please try again." Message. So now I lose 3 LP for "Dodging" and have to wait 5 minutes(or 30 if it just happened to you) to q back up for a game. Is this ever going to be fixed or is the Riot coding team really this incompetent that they will just leave this as a permanent feature of the game? Getting so sick of this.
