Poppy's Ultimate Not Channeling

I was trying out Poppy today in a Co-Op vs AI match, and for some reason, her ult would instantly go as soon as I pressed the button. I could never get it to channel, which, in a normal match, could cause a lot of issues if I can't peel for the team. I'm wondering if it had something to do with quick casting, since I always have that enabled for all spells.

I'm afraid I don't know much about the hardware I'm using (I'm on a borrowed computer while my normal one is in for repairs), but if it's not an issue with quick casting, maybe it's the keyboard I'm using?

I did try that, and it still didn't work. I know other channeling abilities haven't had that problem for me in the past, so I'm thinking it's either something specific to Poppy's new ult, or something with this new computer I'm borrowing.

Do you have smartcast turned on for her ultimate? I have the same bug with Sion's Q. If smartcast is turned on, it won't channel.
