No Indication That I'm Disconnected

This happens once in a while. I'll be loading into a game. I'm at 100%, as are most other players. One or two players will appear to stop loading, but it's actually me who has been disconnected. I'll continuing waiting until I eventually give up, close the game, and reconnect only to find that everyone else, including the players who appeared not to be loading, already playing the game.

The game needs to tell me that I'm not loading instead of just sitting there acting like I'm waiting on someone else to load. It's easy to restart the game. I just don't know that I'm not loading.
