input

i tried to change the input but my computer doesnt take anything else so now i cant play. All i need to know is the recommended input. It can be found in the settings when you are in a game. i cant change it because my screen just goes black. It might now be called the input but it looks like 1600 x 550 or something like that. I cant think of it right now. Please help.
