How has the client gone on this long without any fix? My stats haven't updated for months. I can't see most of my friends profiles. The online status is always blue like you're in game but says you're creating a lobby. In post lobby everyone's profile names are grayed out so you don't know who is still there or not. The whole thing is a fucking mess, we're in a new season and they still haven't fixed it. How long is it gonna take?
I got an automated message in the client yesterday, saying I was just kicked from my own lobby. It didn't say why - it was just notifying me that I was kicked.

What an absolute joke. A team of computer engineers unable to code something as simple as a robust client. OK Don't even start with "small indy company", because a small team of undergrads could do it. Perhaps the problem is project management unable to properly coordinate their individual talent giving this end result of a spaghetti dinner.

My entire friends list has been without summoner icons, without any information, and always showing up offline since like 3 or 4 patches ago.
I don't understand how in the world they haven't sorted this out.
Unfortunately Riot will always be on the back foot because of the fact this is their second client on top of how poor of a job they have done with it. It will always be compared with the old client, and despite how much makeup they put on this pig they've created, it's still a pig.
Except in this case their pig is missing a leg and they keep slapping on Christmas lights, and sometimes the pig barks for some reason forgetting it is a pig.
My friend can't ever load his client because it "times out" and can't even repair it, my other friend has a missing friends list, after every game me and another regular pre-made get spam messages that say "a password is required to enter this room". I swear out of the 5 of us, after every single game one of us or more has to relaunch the client. It's a mess. There are so many bugs with the client. Send help!
Just had two crashes in a ranked, one killed my game and made my pc struggle for 10 minutes before i could do anything and restart The other literally killed my pc to a point that even the shutdown button couldn't do anything for me, had to unplug. Only happens on this particular game.
Anyone found a fix for everyone showing offline in friends list?

all the things he said plus more. anyone play a game then your chat just disables and goes rogue? i literally cant type to anyone after playing one game.
I cannot add friends. Every time I try I get "Yikes! - Internal Service Error, please try again later" and nothing fixes it. It really gets on my nerves, I'll find someone I did well with in ranked and can't add them in any way possible, at best I can invite them to a party but never can I add them.
If the client were any more broken, they'd have to call it Diana.
Their mobile app also went bonkers. People are always "Away", i can't chat, see their statuses, see their match history. Developers are jack shit, i hope they are getting replaced soon.
every time i complete a match it tells me i don't have access to the lobby menu. password required for this area. and so on.
And Riot still hasn't commented on any of the forum posts about the broken client.

The overblown IRC client you forked? Completely unusable. In the Dev video, you made changes to the "engine" as IF it wasn't something that wasn't already well maintained and open source. Is this an authentication token issue? It's hilarious, because you made league voice to try and provide a substitute for discord, but now it's more reliable at telling me when people are in game than the actual 10 year old friend list function? How has degenerated THIS FAR? Are you having issues implementing other clients into the PvP.Net system? Is the DDoS attack from a couple months ago the problem? Don't tell me in 200 years of experience you haven't learned how to ask for help?
I AM SO F*** PISSED! I just lost 1 placement because my chat didn't want to close and I couldnt pick a F*** champion. Good job Riot. Make more games.
Client gets slower the longer its open. Can't invite people who are in a lobby already (even though they're not in queue). Friends list is buggy too
