How has the client gone on this long without any fix? My stats haven't updated for months. I can't see most of my friends profiles. The online status is always blue like you're in game but says you're creating a lobby. In post lobby everyone's profile names are grayed out so you don't know who is still there or not. The whole thing is a fucking mess, we're in a new season and they still haven't fixed it. How long is it gonna take?
PaladinNO11 votesI got an automated message in the client yesterday, saying I was just kicked from my own lobby. It didn't say why - it was just notifying me that I was kicked.

OK Don't even start with "small indy company", because a small team of undergrads could do it. Perhaps the problem is project management unable to properly coordinate their individual talent giving this end result of a spaghetti dinner.
Xonra6 votesThis is what happens when you hire cheap, have interns working on stuff they shouldn't be touching, and the bulk of your coders literally don't know what they are doing (Factually). They don't hire quality in the right areas and it shows, and they never will because let's be honest, they don't have to anymore. It's frustrating as hell, but League is one of the most popular games still and they've lucked into it. They don't have to care about bad coding anymore, cause even with the crap client people keep on logging in and playing and spending money and their esport is still growing and so on and so on.

Lucie Lovelace4 votesMy friend can't ever load his client because it "times out" and can't even repair it, my other friend has a missing friends list, after every game me and another regular pre-made get spam messages that say "a password is required to enter this room". I swear out of the 5 of us, after every single game one of us or more has to relaunch the client. It's a mess. There are so many bugs with the client. Send help!
Xonra4 votesUnfortunately Riot will always be on the back foot because of the fact this is their second client on top of how poor of a job they have done with it. It will always be compared with the old client, and despite how much makeup they put on this pig they've created, it's still a pig.
Except in this case their pig is missing a leg and they keep slapping on Christmas lights, and sometimes the pig barks for some reason forgetting it is a pig.

Xonra1 votesSoooooort of? There was the original original client that hardly anyone has actually seen, especially current players. It was the equivalent to a beta client if I'm being honest. Then the "first" client is the air client everyone knows which while funky it was functional, but people didn't know better and it was a full on monkey paw situation (becareful what you wish for) saying Riot needed to catch up and make a new client.
That new client is the current client and....yeah. So you are sort of right, yeah.
Nithke3 votesJust had two crashes in a ranked, one killed my game and made my pc struggle for 10 minutes before i could do anything and restart The other literally killed my pc to a point that even the shutdown button couldn't do anything for me, had to unplug. Only happens on this particular game.

The overblown IRC client you forked? Completely unusable. In the Dev video, you made changes to the "engine" as IF it wasn't something that wasn't already well maintained and open source. Is this an authentication token issue? It's hilarious, because you made league voice to try and provide a substitute for discord, but now it's more reliable at telling me when people are in game than the actual 10 year old friend list function? How has degenerated THIS FAR? Are you having issues implementing other clients into the PvP.Net system? Is the DDoS attack from a couple months ago the problem? Don't tell me in 200 years of experience you haven't learned how to ask for help?

It really gets on my nerves, I'll find someone I did well with in ranked and can't add them in any way possible, at best I can invite them to a party but never can I add them.
