Had to buy boots twice

I tried to buy boots of speed with alacrity as thresh and it made me pay for it, but it didn't show it in the item log. I then looked at the movement speed and it was not increased. I found this out by dying and thinking to myself, "Didn't i just buy these?" and it has a checkmark as if I had, but I needed to get more gold to buy them a second time. I went from the 325g boots straight to alacrity.
