Kayle E cancelling bug

So I was on the PBE and playing Pentakill Kayle and I went to attack Jax with my e on. I attacked and then clicked an area to move, and Kayle just kinda swung her sword and the e went away. I checked and the e didn't do to a minion or something, it just went away. Normally with an empowered AA if you miss or AA cancel, you preserve the empowered AA, but Kayle's might have different properties since it's ranged. It could also be a Pentakill Kayle specific bug, but idk, look into it or smth. I was also recalling under tower which was a genius option, and drew aggro. The tower hit me and I just ignored it. Again, on Pentakill. I didn't w the tower shot, it just hit me and fizzled out.
