Connecting to team chat?

Hey everybody, I've been having a problem. When I connect to a lobby and am in champ select the team chat window just says connecting. I can't say anything in it nor can I see what other people say, just says connecting... Anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it because its very annoying.[slayer-jinx-catface]
