Tahm Kench and Star Guardian Ahri Interaction

So as I was playing Master Cook Tahm Kench, I was not able to devour (w) Star Guardian Ahri the whole match to the point it costed me LP. I was not able to do it in base, during fights, etc. Idk if it's with these two skins, or with Tahm and SG Ahri specifically, but please address this issue. I want to play Tahm more without risking me not being able to devour FOTM SG Ahri's. Thank you.
