Lost points and abandoned game; never played a game [CLIENT]

I was searching for a ranked solo queue game and it was taking a very long time (10 minutes) so I re-queued a couple times and finally reset my client. After resetting my client, I tried to search a game but it tells me that I abandoned a game and now I am sitting at -13 points...riot help please!
