Ultimate Skin Gifting Error

So I wanted to buy my friend Elementalist Lux for the holidays and when I got to the final conformation page, it game me an error message which read something like "An error has occurred". I exited out and logged off. I logged back on and tried the gifting center again. When I returned, there were only a few skins in the store that I could gift (the legacy skins and a few random ones like butterfly Kog'Maw and Dragon Trainer Tristana for example). No ultimate skins.

What gives?

Should I just try tomorrow or...?

It's an expensive skin and I'd really appreciate it if everything could work smoothly. It took a month to get my icon from the last time I used the gifting center (that whole pumpkin icon crap from October). I am very unsatisfied with this service and just want to give my friend a gift for Christmas that hes really been wanting.
