My mac client wouldn't open so I deleted it and tried to re-download a new one. Now it won't finish downloading it will stop and say that the client unexpectedly quits. Please help!! I really wanna play league again!!!

I recently got a new macbook pro and when I tried to download LoL, it was excruciatingly slow. After 5 hours and almost no progress, I tried to download it on a junky old PC and it took about an hour. Same internet connection. What is going on here...?
Okay, could you explain the problem with more detail please? Your computer specs, what exactly you did, etc.
I'm having the same problem, 10.10.1, LoL Patcher will go to about 87% and then stop downloading. Very frustrating.
