[MAC][YOSEMITE] League patcher crashes when downloading

Hello, I haven't seen any posts related to this issue, so i decided to make a new thread. As the title says, when I opened League patcher to download league it crashes after a while saying "LoL Patcher application has unexpectedly shut down." I played league on this computer for a year with no problems, except for when i updated to Yosemite, the issue arised. Would like some help please! :) (P.S Btw LoL hasn't been downloaded on this mac yet P.S.S Specs: MacBook Pro (13-inch, Early 2011), Processor: 2.3GHz Intel Core i5, 4GB Ram)

Yea I've contacted support because when i try to play any games, my mouse gets stuck at the top of the screen and i can't pull it away, and they told me this:

Thanks for letting us know about the Mac Yosemite issues you've been seeing in League. We are aware of the issue and are working to get it fixed. I can't say when a fix will come out, though, as we try to only announce these dates when we are sure we can meet the arrival schedule.

Yosemite is not currently a supported OS for League. Right now your best bet is to sit tight, or attempt to revert to Mavericks. I'm sorry I couldn't help you directly, if there's anything else I can do for you just let me know.

I don't really understand where the drop off was, didn't they know Yosemite was coming? Did this happen when Mavericks came out? Im not sure its even an option, but why would i revert back to mavericks? Theres a ton of new stuff on Yosemite...

And I'd like to say that you are not alone. Let's hope for the best that they fix it soon Also If I could find a solution (which probably not but I will keep trying) I will let you know fingers crossed

Hello, thanks for the reply! :) Hopefully they'll fix these issues sooner or later! Playing on my old computer is a pain in the neck, and i'd love to be able to play on my mac again!

I have the exact same issue. I upgraded to yosemite today, and tried to reinstall LoL. CRASH. RIOT HELP. Cant live without league... lol
