[Client] Client updates cause all OS X apps to display a warning next time they're opened

Whenever the League of Legends client updates, almost every application on OS X (Discord as an example) will display a warning dialog the next time it is opened.

The warning dialog says: "You are opening the application "NAME OF THE APP" for the first time. Are you sure you want to open this application."

I have confirmed it is LoL causing this because I've monitored and tested it across many updates on more than one Mac (3). I wish I had more debug information to give. If you point me to some logs, I can monitor the issue for next time. My research suggests that the app updates may be corrupting the Launch Services database which registers URI handlers for applications (see https://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/30177/excessive-opening-application-for-the-first-time-dialogs ).

Restarting the computer after an update seems to prevent this from persisting but is inconvenient as I use this computer as a media server as well.

OS X Version: 10.12.6 LoL CLient Version: 7.21.5965023.5957495
