No Stats. No Minimap. No holding Tab!!

I'm not sure if this is a bug or just a screen option I don't know about and somehow stumbled upon it, but when I started a game as Vi, I only saw my playing screen. No mini-map was visible. None of the stats were visible, and with nothing to click on, there was no way I could level up my abilities. Holding Tab to at least see stats for everyone else didn't even work. The only way I could view the shop was to actually walk to the shop and click on it.

I had no choice but to camp, instead of blindly jungling without any leveled abilities and feeding the other team. Luckily, my team at the time was understanding. I tried looking through the video and game settings to see if maybe I accidentally clicked on a setting change, but nothing stuck out to me. Even so, it wouldn't explain why Tab wouldn't work. So if it's not a bug, what's the solution?
