League wont download the 5.11 patch

Ever thing the recent patches my league would download extremely slow, it didn't use to do this before the new champion Ekko came out, I have to uninstall and reinstall the game to download the new patch witch would still take a long time. Now for the patch 5.11 I can't download the patch, I have reinstalled and uninstalled the game numerous times, I don't have the peer to peer allowed, my internet runs smoothly, I have even created more space for the game, and no other applications are on. I have noticed that it will stop at 54, 68, or 89, percent the times I have tried and it wouldn't move from that percent it was not frozen since I could check patch updates at that time. I would really like to keep playing league but it just isn't working for me anymore. If it helps I do have a mac computer that I am using for league.
