I was playing Ap Gangplank the other day and I bought Luden's Echo, thinking that it synergize with Parrrley. After buying Ludens, I proceed to use my q. It does NOT proc Luden's passive. Is this intentional or a bug? I believe that since Parrrly is registered as a kind of basic attack, it does not count as a spell. Thus, it does not proc Gangplank's Q. But I want to know if this was intentional or not. Thank you.
intentional. you are correct in parrley and mystic shot being basic attacks and not doing spell damage so not procing echo.
Both of these skills proc on-hit effects not on-spell-hit effects.
Luden's Echo isn't suppose to proc on autoattacks. Why would it proc in GP's Q or Ezreal's Q?
Parrley is counted as on hit effects, as if it was your auto, ludens is for spell casts so nothing but your ult will proc the ludens
