Alert Pings and Minimap Paralyzed

I already submitted a ticket for this. MoiTET informed me that I should post it in the forums as well, so here I am. I'm not sure if I'm the only one who's had this problem, but my pings and minimap work fine for a little bit, then my cursor becomes stuck on the icon one sees before one pings. At this point I cannot pan my main screen to the location of my cursor on the minimap, nor can I issue alert pings. This doesn't happen in custom matches when I go to test my settings, it only happens in matched games with other players. Anyone else had this happen before?
