Lux and Cho'Gath bug Gameplay

So i was playing a ranked game today against a Cho'Gath and the weirdest thing happened. After he silenced me as lux when i would use my skills after the duration of his silence they would activate but have no effect and do no damage. I could see the animation and so could my team also they would go on cool down but they had no effect. Not sure if it was just that game or if its a lux bug or a cho'gath silence bug. The actions to recreate the bug are for cho'gath to silence lux then lux try to activate any skills and see if they have any effect. If i can make a video or screenshot for more detail i will include that too but for the time being i only noticed it just now in my game
