Champions / ward skins / champion skins disappearing

I'm not sure whats happening but I started a new account and got a free skin ward and unlocked it through hextech crafting, I then checked my inventory and it was not there, this is also happening for champions that I'm buying I log back in and it takes my BE but I don't receive the champion. This has happened randomly through two accounts now.

Surely this is happening to other people? Its extremely annoying.
